Great place to enjoy drinks (or food) after hiking to Katrin Cross.
The view is also beautiful,
We only enjoyed drinks, because we were still full after we had a big breakfast at our hotel, but I think they serve good food also.
Great cafe with food at the platform after you exit the cable car. We only got tea and coffee but the table next to us got schnitzel. It looked really good.
There was only one person working. He was busy attending to a large tour group. So we grabbed the menu and seated ourselves. Then tracked him down to place our orders.
If you are close to this place, go thefe. Very cool cabin takes you up and the view is amazing. There is a pub on ski slope, so you can enjoy the mountains and weizenbier
Great views, and easy to reach for those with disabilities. Good good and friendly staff. An ideal place to linger over a drink. Great in all seasons, best when you can sit outside to enjoy the views.
Their English was quite good (they even had menues in English), very easy communication, food was quickly served and it was well done, very nice views and cozy atmosphere.
It was just AMAZING ! An unforgettable experience ! The food (also very good drinks), service and the wonderfull view of the mountains ! By he way, Mr Gerhard Wagner, the host (der Wirt), is very wellcoming. I appreciated that he is working hand on hand with his staff! If you are in Bad Ischl - this is the place you have to visit !
Great place to rest and eat after a walk in the moutains. We enjoyed that there was a live band on the terrasse and a little playground outside for the kids. Very relaxing experience !
Good Service and location, affordable prices, still we had to wait for quite a while until we were served. Unfortunately no vegan options.
